United in faith, we celebrate the heritage of the Marian shrines in Sinj! After the exceptional success of last year’s meeting of sanctuaries dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary, this year the city of the Miraculous Lady of Sinj will host a series of interesting exhibitions and round tables.

The sacral heritage of Croatian Marian sanctuaries in the homeland and abroad is a treasure of inestimable value and it is necessary to preserve it through the development of sacred (religious?) tourism and the local community, with the indispensable importance of spirituality and faith. Sanctuaries are a safe haven, a place of comfort, hope and encouragement, and nothing should detract from their primary purpose.

The united efforts of the managers of the sanctuary and experts in the field of tourism and the comprehensive program of the Congress will bring useful and important conclusions and guidelines for further projects and improvements. While motherly grace hovers over Croatia, under Mary’s guidance we easily find strength for every step on our spiritual path and guidelines for love, mercy and sincere devotion.
