The Story of St. Domnius
While the ancient province of Dalmatia bled under the heavy burden of imperial decrees, one man stood at the crossroads of history: Domnius, a visionary who bravely took the helm of the early Christian community in Salona, fully aware that by doing so, he was signing his own death warrant.
This tour is not merely a dry overview of historical facts and archaeological sites; it is an intimate journey through time guided by the narration of Bishop Primus. Through his personal perspective, steeped in family pride and historical gravity, we will uncover the dramatic details of Domnius’s fate and understand how the life and martyrdom of this Bishop of Salona laid the foundations that permanently shaped the spiritual and cultural identity of Dalmatia, and indeed, the whole of Europe.
