Musical evenings at the Kamičak Fortress by the “French Touch Trio”

Elvis Stanić is one of the best Croatian contemporary guitarists and accordionists, and the most awarded jazz composer of the “middle” generation. He fronts the “Elvis Stanić Group”, a jazz fusion group that combines the Mediterranean melody of traditional Croatian music with Latin rhythms and contemporary jazz tendencies.

As a composer, he is especially dedicated to studying Croatian and world traditional music, and is one of Croatia’s leading experts in world music. He won numerous awards and recognitions, including the prestigious Order of the Croatian Danica with the effigy of Marko Marulić. The most-awarded Croatian multi-instrumentalist will arrive in Sinj on August 17 and perform with his new “French Touch Trio” musical project dedicated to harmonica, tango, French chansons, and jazz waltz.

This group of experienced, lively musicians uniquely combines the sound of the harmonica, guitar, double bass, and percussion into energetic, enchanting, and inspired music. The Trio takes the audience on a walk through the streets of Paris, invites them to a tango in Buenos Aires, while questioning South American sensuality and the unbridled joy of French joie de vivre.

Their music showcases a diverse, supreme art that elegantly fuses tango, jazz, samba, and waltz.

Entry to the concert is free!

See you in Sinj – we look forward to your arrival!

The concert is organized by the Sinj Tourist Board, in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Media of the Republic of Croatia, the Tourist Board of Split-Dalmatia County, the Town of Sinj, and the Croatian National Tourist Board.
